The best dental software depends on the problem you're solving. Most products here do one of two jobs, and very few do both.
- Practice management software runs the clinic: patient records, dental charts, treatment plans, billing, reminders. If you still use paper charts, start here.
- Inquiry and booking tools work in front of it: they answer Messenger and web chat, book the patient, and send the confirmation. If your problem is unanswered messages and empty slots, look here.

What each one is for
Practice management
- SeriousMD is medical practice software with a dental page and a patient booking app, NowServing. Its free tier carries a "5% + Php75" service fee. Pro includes 100 SMS credits.
- Klinikly is dental-first and includes 500 one-way SMS a month. Its assistant turns website and inbox enquiries into leads, and the final booking confirmation stays with your staff. It lists Facebook Messenger as coming soon.
- Molarsoft is dental-first, with email and SMS reminders.
- DentIQph is based in Talisay, Cebu, runs ₱999 to ₱3,999 a month depending on seats, and sends SMS reminders.
- MyDMD is the cheapest here, ₱500 to ₱1,083.33 a month billed yearly. Online booking requests are never auto-confirmed.
- ClinicOS is based in Cebu City and covers several specialties, with a dental add-on. Its AI writes clinical notes, not patient replies.
Inquiry and booking
- HeyDenta is an AI receptionist for dental clinics with a self-serve trial. Its homepage lists Messenger and SMS as still rolling out.
- BookEasy runs a fixed booking flow inside Messenger instead of AI, set up for you. It's the most expensive option here.
- OtterFlow answers Messenger and web chat, books the slot, and sends SMS confirmations and reminders. We set it up and run it for you.
OtterFlow's downsides, plainly
- It isn't a records system. No dental charts, no billing, no HMO claims. You'll likely still need one of the tools above.
- It costs more each month than the practice management tools, because it includes the AI, the SMS and a team running it for you.
- It's new. We're a small Cebu team, currently piloting with Cebu clinics, and we don't have a public customer list yet.
- It works on Messenger, a hosted chat page and a website widget. It doesn't list Instagram or WhatsApp.
How to choose
- Write down where patients get lost today: before they book, or after they arrive.
- Pick the category that matches. Records software won't fix unanswered messages, and a chat tool won't replace your charts.
- Try each shortlisted product the way a patient would. Message its demo at 10 PM in Taglish and see whether you end up booked.

Your patients' data
Whichever you choose, your clinic stays the personal information controller for your patients' data under the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173). With OtterFlow, we process it on your behalf, and OpenAI and Google process some of it outside the Philippines. Our privacy notice has the details.
